Auto-forward from a specific sender (newsletter, journalist, etc.)
One-time setup per sender. Useful when you want everything a specific newsletter or writer publishes to auto-arrive here.
- First, register your alias as a Gmail forwarding address: Open Gmail forwarding settings → Click Add a forwarding address, paste your alias, save.
- Gmail will email a confirmation code to your alias. It'll appear in your Saved queue here within ~30 seconds — open it, copy the code, paste it back into Gmail.

Create the filter:
Open Gmail filters →
Click Create a new filter, type the sender's email in the
Fromfield, click Create filter. - Check Forward it to: and select your alias from the dropdown. Save.
From now on, every email from that sender lands in your Saved queue automatically — no per-email action. iCloud Mail and Outlook have equivalent "Rules" settings; the principle is the same.
Add text, a URL, or a file
Paragraph breaks (blank lines) are preserved on playback.
